I was scheduled to meet and play improvised music with guitarist John King at The Cooler in New York City March 19, 2001 in a quintet setting with pianist Sylvie Degiez, chapman-stick guitarist Wayne Lopes and clarinetist Perry Robinson. Good vibrations installed immediately and more playing was done the following days.
John King later told me he was scheduled to work on his own ballet music the upcoming years in both Sweden and Denmark.
To be able to play more with him I made plans for concerts and in the summer of 2004 while touring in Sweden with the Chilly Willie band we also spent the Monday 2nd of August at Pama Studios in Kristianopel.
The multi-track recording was mixed September 9 and mastered October 6, 2004 at Bohus Sound Recording, Kungälv, Sweden. It went never to be released in those days and was quite soon forgotten.
