This duo music was composed and auto film/recorded while played

I met Biggi Vinkeloe in July 1988. We both played with US pianist/composer Cecil Taylor European Workshop Band in Berlin and moved to Cologne to be able to play in different projects in central Europe. Long running during 1990-2000 was the Biggi Vinkeloe Trio touring in Europe and North America. I was the drummer and the different bassists we toured and recorded with were Georg Wolf, Barre Phillips, Ken Filiano, Peter Friis Nielsen, Roberto Bellatalla or Peter Kowald. When none of the bass players were available we performed with other instrumentalists, dancers, actors or painters. Lots of wonderful ”trio performances” were for example made with the visual performing artist/painter/actor Ebbe Pettersson. Sometimes we also performed as a pure duo but no records were ever made. Therefore now, finally, 34 years after our first meeting to perform with Cecil Taylor European Workshop Band (Legba Crossing, FMP Records) we have here a fresh live recording of our duo performance at BrÖtz Gothenburg, Sweden on October 19, 2022 titled THE RECROSSING
